Here are the results:
Outstanding! Must have item for your pets collar! You can have tag printed to read whatever you want within a certain amount of space of course, it will not dangle loosely with potential of possibly getting stuck in places or being pulled off, it will not dangle and play a loud annoying jingle every time your dog moves, therefore it is a silent dog tag (oh the peace), and it looks good too and most of all it serves as a form of communication for your pet to get back in touch with you should it wonder off and get lost or be in some sort of unfortunate mishap.
Keep in mind that the implanted microchips are not 100% proof and some people that pick up pets do not normally carry around a chip reader & may not take them to a vet or shelter to have it checked...however...they will be able to read a Boomerang I.D. tag with your up to date contact info on it! Since this particular tag is guaranteed for the life of my pet and the fact that we are military and move often I thought it was best to not only have my phone number on the tag but also my blog website address so I am reachable via email or my social network resources no matter if my phone number or address changes! Also note that I decided not to have my dogs name on his collar because this also gives me another way to prove this is my dog. He knows his name and will respond to it. I wanted to make a simple and direct statement with what was on my dogs I.D. tag. as you can see here.

Pictured here is what the adjustable dog tag looks like from the underside of the plastic snap type collar I prefer to use as shown. Personal preference: buckle collars are just too time consuming not to mention difficult for those of us with arthritic hands. Snap buckle is so much easier and just makes sense to me but hey that's another blog post another time!

I originally noticed the Boomerang dog collar tag for the first time ever on two lovely rescued well behaved Great Danes at a dog park this summer and had to find out more about these tags that peaked my interest and why had I not known about them before, I had to find out more, I had to have one! Once I received the Boomerang tag, I placed this good looking heavy duty dog tag on our 5 month old Golden Retriever pup Koa's new 1 inch big boy collar. (he is a large breed dog still growing so I chose the Large size but keep in mind that Boomerang makes all sizes for all size dogs/cats/pets). I am hoping maybe we'll receive some awesome big boy collars to promote to go with our awesome BOOMERANG big boy dog tag! (this is a subliminal hint to any 1" dog collar creators out there oh and it must be waterproof and washable, we are rugged).
OK back to the story...we recently took a family road trip and went hiking in the mountains where we all got soaked walking a trail by an unexpected summer thunderstorm. The dog tag held up wonderfully, never fell off, (it is VERY secure), and did not rust nor fall off nor fray the collar nor slip around on the collar. I highly recommend this pet I.D. tag to anyone with pets. This collar tag leaves all other tags in the dust!
